Why bother? Had Cancellara been in Ballan's shoes, Hoste wouldn't have been able to hold on!! _________________ "so if MM wants to suck down 16mg unfiltered tar-laden cancer-causing , he will! Agreed. Gent Wevelgem is one thing, PR against this field is something else. _________________ "so if MM wants to suck down 16mg unfiltered tar-laden cancer-causing , he will! Hammond has already finished 3rd at Roubaix as you well know. He has to be in with a shout, surely? _________________ "For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong." H. L. Mencken

More or less the same lot...
Yeah he'll either be up near the top or not at all. |

I think there's a Gulf the size of Africa between a runner up and a winner at PR. As good as Roger is, I think he'd need all the luck in the world to beat the likes of Ballan and Cancellara with their form _________________ "so if MM wants to suck down 16mg unfiltered tar-laden cancer-causing , he will! After seeing Gent Wevelgem I can safely say that more or less anything could happen on Sunday! |

I can see why you may all see why luck plays such a part especially after last year. However if you look at guys like Ballerini, Tchmil, Backstedt and even Cancellara last year, someone could have built a brick wall across the road and they would have still won. _________________ "so if MM wants to suck down 16mg unfiltered tar-laden cancer-causing , he will! Steegtmans didn't look in too much trouble sitting on his wheel on Sunday
Mebbe Boonen has timed his form just right after a slow start to the year - didn't he crash early on Sun which affected him - if he's recovered he might be a bit fresher . Looked like he'd peaked too soon last year. _________________ I tell myself I will not go,
