I think we ought to start a thread for C--P cafes.
That one on Bills Reliability Ride at Toll Bar Garden Centre is tops in that department.
It would have been quicker to make my own cup of tea.
I had to eat my inner tube box I was that hungry waiting. _________________ http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3094845440/tt0069704

I think that was what this thread was always about
The toll bar was a bit slow and what made it worse was being continually offered someone elses order, whilst being able to see the your own not moving. Top serving wench cleavage though
Made even worse by everyone getting up to leave just as my order arrived, then when I got outside the tyre had gone down again.
I would go back but on a quieter day. _________________ Users browsing this forum: None |

They totally useless last time we went on the club run....when we asked if they wanted our names with the order they point blank refused to take them.
Then wandered around muttering looking for the correct recipient of the ordered goods.

I heard that The Limes finally refused to serve the Parrots fast group that came in later last Saturday.
Apparently it's a restaurant after 12noon and they don't want cyclist's taking up the space? |

Perhaps we ought to have East Mids VR get together at the Limes but all turn up on bikes independently just too see if they would turn us all away .....even if we had pre-booked. |

What is that Cafe in Colston Bassett on the corner where that PO used to be??
Norman got sent packing from there on a Thursday and told that they didnt want cyclists in as it would put the punters off.
TRUE whod want to sit next to someone with lycra tights on with all their bits and pieces showing thru. _________________ http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3094845440/tt0069704

My little jaunt today was to market bosworth, which has 3 excellent cafes, (no I didn't try them all) the gatehouse is a bit unpredictable weekdays, so went to on just off the market square called "la Torte" it is very posh.
Large latte (milky coffee in old money), ham and tomato sandwich (with no crusts), and a nice sticky danish, £6:20 A bit pricey, but good food and pleasant service.
Top ride today, weather almost perfect, 75 miles, 4 hours 20 mins av17.1 How come I go faster on my own than in a group _________________ Users browsing this forum: None |
