IT would depend on how good you are, what events you ride and how many events... It's not a north/south thing in any way. there appears to be 100's of events in Surrey, or at Hillingdon, so more points are given out. But that doesn't mean it's easier, far from it.

No, because when you go past Birmingham you become a Southern Jessie, so even though the races are easier, you cannot get points any easier because you have become soft like the rest of em. _________________ Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at

Anyone care to define an "easy" race.
Only a race you win is easy - then only retrospectively. _________________ Doc

One where you pack after 5 miles. Thats easy, riding the full distance is much harder. _________________ Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at

I voted NO because i interpretated it as "races are easier".
There are more opportunities for points if you have more races though. |

I voted don't know. Because unless your riding events up north & down south, how can you know.
You get easy race's down south, just like you must get up north. _________________ training! what training ,just race yourself fit |

Get your points riding TT, can't be an easier way to get them. _________________ When offered the choice between the path of Desire and the path of Virtue I chose the path marked Diversion.

Yes, 100%!!! Because there are so many events!!! Like up north every one is at every race but down south because there are so many events to choose from there is sometimes less competition.
Plus, were a lot harder up north! lol |

roads are like glass down there, always a tailwind and no hills to speak of, They all drink shandy, pimms or champagne, it never rains and they are all bankers (rhyming slang). _________________ You don't get big legs watching telly. |

Silly generalisation, a bit rude as well. try riding e few races in the Chilterns or South Downs and then you'll find out how good you really are, compared to us "Pimms drinkers". Ask anyone who's ridden Archer GP (or support races), Havant, for example. A lot of good riders do come from the north - which I could say to me is anywhere not south of M4, as there are and have been good southeners. Good is good, wherever you live. _________________ Doc

A huge generalisation methinks, so I voted no. Especially after yesterday's Chris Ibbotson thrash around Surrey .... but then I am a southern softie |

The Surrey League should be good, but isn't, as most riders just use the series as a day out training with a lead car and a few blokes waving flags to keep them safe. Bunch of posers. The only rider that was any good was Neil Hoban, and when he cleared off the rest of them started eating and drinking and posing while Mummy and Daddy took photos. A day in the Pennines for them would put a few bikes on the second hand market. |

Both actually, it's a gift. Landan's full of posers. Dry weather one's at that. |

It's grim up north. And so are the riders. Southerners? All Big Girls Blouses. Except Ron Keeble, 'coz he's dead hard. |
